Listening to the conversation, Sifo-Dyas confirms his suspicions and prepares to confront the Kaleesh scoundrel…

“Your wicked plans are finished Jai Sheelal!” exclaims Sifo-Dyas as he leaps from behind the column.

Bemused, Jai Sheelal taunts “Well well well, what have we here, a Jedi Knight.”

| 
“You’ve taken advantage of these people’s plight and anger for the last time, Qymaen” he responds.
| |
| 
“We shall see…” responds the Kaleesh, as he orders his IG-88 bodyguard droids “Kill him.”
| |
| 
As the deadly droids power on their electro staves, the Jedi Knight ignites his weapon and welcomes the confrontation “Bring it on, scum!”

| 
As the menacing droids advance on the Jedi Knight…

| 
Jai Sheelal surmises “You must realize… you are doomed.”
| |
| 
“Oh, I don’t think so.” retorts Sifo-Dyas as he engages the droids.
| |
| 
The first assassin droid lunges at Sifo-Dyas with his electro staff, its ends electromagnetically charged to repel light saber blows.

| 
Sifo-Dyas parries the deadly blow with his light saber,
| |
| 
disarms the droid and beheads it all in one motion.
| |
| 
After doing the same thing to the next droid, the remaining two adjust their strategy and corner the Jedi Knight.

| 
Sifo-Dyas confidently prepares to engage the droids as they advance more cautiously,
| |
| 
Teaming up to disorient the Jedi Knight.
| |
| 
As the droid twirls his electro staff to surprise Sifo-Dyas with a new attack vector…

| 
The Jedi Knight anticipates the moves and quickly disposes of the droid, while keeping an eye on the fleeing Kaleesh.

| 
As Jai Sheelal prepares to depart in his starship, Sifo-Dyas struggles to get past the final droid.
| |
| 
Which is no match for him, but has nonetheless given Jai Sheelal enough time to escape.

| 
As the Kaleesh thug ascends into the dark night…

Sifo-Dyas contacts the departed naval cruiser…

which is well into its return flight.

| 
After establishing contact, Captain Smeet receives the Jedi Knight’s request “Use your long range radar to track the Belbullab-22 ship now leaving Dac, relay its coordinates to R4-P17!”

After receiving confirmation, Sifo-Dyas summons R4-P17.
| |
| 
“R4! Bring the ship to landing pad seven-four-nine!” which the astro droid acknowledges with a series of chirps and beeps.

| 
Once on his way, Sifo-Dyas instructs “R4, use the coordinates beamed by the cruiser and begin pursuit!”

| 
The diminutive droid complies and in a matter of moments…
| |
| 
the slow-cruising Kaleesh is shocked to find the Jedi has followed him.
| |
| 
“Look R4, he’s heading toward that Neimoidian aid ship!” exclaims Sifo-Dyas.
| |
| 
As both ships make their way into the open hangar and crash…
| |
| 
each pilot leaps from his cockpit with weapon in hand.
| |
| 
Jai Sheelal runs to establish firing position to repel the chasing Jedi with his rifle blaster.
| |
| 
The formidable Jedi Knight charges at the fiendish mercenary…

| 
dodging and blocking laser blasts…
| |
| 
parrying and redirecting them…
| |
| 
when at last he angles his light saber to bounce a blast back into the rifle, knocking it from the shooter’s hand.

| 
As Jai Sheelal lay defeated, and about to face interrogation…

Sifo-Dyas is interrupted by a robotic voice “halt!”
| |
| 
“I have captured this terrorist, do not let him get away!” pleads Sifo-Dyas as the droids aim their blasters at him.

| 
Within seconds he is surrounded by security droids, all with blasters drawn…
| |
| 
As Sifo-Dyas vehemently protests and the Kaleesh flees the hangar, the droids inexplicably begin firing…

| 
prompting him to brandish his saber to defend himself…
| |
| 
and easily destroying the droids.
| |
| 
Having made a mess of things in the hangar, Sifo-Dyas readies to resume his pursuit of Jai Sheelal…
| |
| 
when he is suddenly surrounded by strange machines, all with shields raised and blasters pointing toward him.
| |
| 
At that moment the captain of the vessel, Lushros Dofine, arrives and exclaims his confusion at the sight of the destroyed droids.
| |
| 
“Master Jedi! What is the meaning of this?!”
| |
| 
As the Destroyers continue to point their blasters at him, Sifo-Dyas renews his protest and explains…
| |
| 
“I am pursuing a terrorist, he has fled inside your ship! We must hurry!” exclaims Sifo-Dyas.
| |
| 
Captain Dofine reacts “Oh dear, I’m terribly sorry for the misunderstanding Master Jedi, but an unauthorized shuttle has just been launched from hangar two.”
